Anna Ardévol presents our research at 5th Euro-Global Summit and Expo on Food and Beverages

Oral Presentation entitled: Effects of Flavanols on the enteroendocrine system: Proathocyanidins effects on food intake

Anna Ardévol presents our research at "Euro Global Summit and Expo on Food & Beverages (Euro Food- 2015)" to be held during June 16-18, 2015 at Alicante, Spain.

Euro Food-2015 is the premier event that brings together a unique and international mix of experts, researchers and decision makers both from academia and industry across the globe to exchange their knowledge, expertise and research innovations to build a world class Food and Beverage conference.

The expertise of our research group is in the area of flavonoids. At present, we are focused on the study of the interaction of flavonoids with the enteroendocrine system and food intake. Today, Anna Ardévol will present our recent findings which indicate that grape seed proanthocyanidins are able to reduce 20% of food intake through the modulation of GLP-1 circulating levels and ghrelin production.
